February’s been a beauwdy, full of action and gearing up for an even bigger season ahead! Here’s what’s been happening in the Just Doon It world.
Kyalite Fishing Comp – We’ve Got a Winner!
Big congrats to the lucky fisho - Marty who snagged our prize at the Kyalite Fishing Comp! He’s already locked in his dates for July – reckon he’s keen for a barra or two! He’ll have a cupla mates coming along so we can’t wait to get out there with them.
Jayson was on deck with our Brother in Law Bobbo, and Kate’s old man Cuzo snapping some epic shots from the Kyalite event. He did a hopeless job of angling, but plenty of ‘black fish’ downed with awesome mates and family.
Bobbo retired hurt with gastro, and Cuzo ended up pretty wounded after trying to scale the bank like a mountain goat - but all round it was a cracking event.
Thanks to Josh Standen who got us onboard for a cracking weekend. These guys are running an incredible competition with ace prizes

Fish the Fort – Sponsorship Upcoming - Saturday 1st March
We’re stoked to be jumping on board as sponsors for Fish the Fort! We absolutely love backing the fishos giving it a crack. Kate’s rolling up in her new wheels - Patsy the V8 Patrol has officially joined the Just Doon It fleet! She’s looking sharp and ready to hit the road for plenty of future adventures.
And she’s not the only one getting a fresh look—our Troopy’s now kitted out with some brand-new Just Doon It stickers! Thanks to YBI FX Hayden Oswald for hooking us up with the stickers - we love them! Crisp and clean is what the punters are calling it!
Runoff Prep – It’s Go Time!
The countdown is well and truly on! Runoff season is just around the corner, and we’re making sure everything is locked, loaded, and ready to go.
We’ve got a new fuel trailer sorted (because let’s be honest, you can never have too much fuel in the Territory), and we’ve been catching up with our NT fisho mates to get the latest intel on what’s biting. The fish are moving, the barra are out there, and it’s only a matter of time before we’re right amongst it.
Jayson’s leading the charge, heading back up to the Territory on March 1 with old man Steve. They will be joined by Cuzo, Bobbo, and Bobbo’s old man Trev to do a recci for the first week. Expect plenty of stories and hopefully, some big barra on the board! Make sure you’re following along for the updates, you won’t want to miss it!
